An 80-year old vulnerable woman, who was suffering from Alzheimer's Disease, was reported missing. A thorough search of an area was carried out by the helicopter and the woman was located. The helicopter directed units on the ground to her location.
A car was being followed by police which was suspected of being involved in a burglary. The car stopped and the driver made off. The helicopter located a suspect hiding in a wooded area and directed officers to the location to make an arrest.
Police were searching for a man who made off from a stolen vehicle. He ran into a housing estate where officers lost sight of him. The helicopter used its thermal imaging technology to help search for the suspect and located a heat source in a wheelie bin. Police found the man in the wheelie bin and he was arrested.
The pursuit of a stolen BMW was being coordinated from the air when the occupants fled the car. The helicopter followed the driver and directed officers on the ground to his whereabouts to arrest him. The passenger was also later arrested.
